A Report on a Case of Congenital Hemolytic Anemia in Korea

Abstract

|
A case of congenital hemolytic anemia of a Korean is reported this disease is extremely rare in the yellow race. It was diagnosed by family history and clinical examination. After splenectomy the patient was discharged in a very good condition. It is discussed that this disease may be caused by the conbination of feeble nnicrospherocyte and a special construction of the spleen. Splenectomy seesms to be the best therapy for congenital hemolytic anemia, through which hematological findings can be improved.
